View Full Version : Canon i9900 paper?

I am new to the forum. My wife scrapbooks a lot, usually using the pictures I take from my Canon G5. I have been thinking about purchasing a Canon i9900 printer. We have been using Kodak Ultima Picture Paper (71 lb.) which works well with my Lexmark X83, but my Epson photo 2000p will not print on the Kodak paper (Ink runs all over the place). Does anyone know if the Canon i9900 will print on the Kodak paper, or will I have to use the expensive proprietary paper? I'm retired, and anything I can save helps. I tried asking Canon, but they haven't gotten back to me (If they ever will).

Tim did a very good job of testing different papers and posting his results in this thread. Hopefully you'll find the answer you're looking for there.
