Here are some photos of the Britcar 24.
I won't post anything of the nasty accident on the startline that saw the TVR driven by Andy Neate and Ginetta G50 driven by Richard Dean. The TVR driver was cut out of the car, airlifted away and is in an induced coma with neck injuries. I was at Copse (first corner) and have quite a sequence of shots.

all great shots, #4 is fantastic with the sun setting behind the car.

#4 is excellent.

I've seen similar shots where the car is little more than a speck in the frame but i much prefer your version :)

Aw thanks guys...

I was feeling pretty crappy as well - a sore throat on Friday turned into a full Snot-athon on Saturday and by Sunday I was pretty poor company.

On the upside, the hotel in Towcester was OK and the curry house was quite nice as well (my wife was with me and didn't want to camp at a race circuit again) and I objected to paying £ 50 to camp when for about the same you can get a proper bed, a decent cooked breakfast and a bath or shower.

#4 is incredible, i really like it. Need to buy a flash gun for my next 24hrs, all my night shots turned out grey and noisy! On a serious note hopefully Andy Neate will pull through, it was a massive shunt. I was down and copse and just saw a Mosler going sideways through the viewfinder before all hell broke loose.

I was next to you for the start then. Were you trackside?
