Silver lens??

I was at the park yesterday and there was a pro there with a DSLR and hshe had a silver lens with a silver hood..

I did't get a pic of it but man did it look wierd

anyone have any ideas what system it could have been?

i know some older lenses are silver. she could have had a converter so she could continue to use a good lens.

i have some zeiss lenses that are silver. i think they were zeiss lenses though.

Not high quality lenses but they are silver.
