Up until recently I had two cats.

Spoogie who is 8 ½ and a black short hair. She is incredibly difficult to photograph as she doesn’t have many features on her face and she is a very very jet black colour and Smudge who was 6 and was a white and tabby british shorthair.

Smudge was so photogenic, she would quite happily pose for pictures while you snapped away and I have to say she was one of my favourite subjects to photograph. Unfortunately Smudge passed away very suddenly, it will be two months next Monday and I miss her incredibly.

In my county only three outdoor/indoor pets are allowed.

So, if you have dogs, that means you can have three. You could get a cat, but only if it's strictly indoors, and nobody cares about hamsters and such.

Basically, if your pets leave the house they have to be on leash and you can only have three.

SO, I have three: Little Havanese, a Boxer/lab mix and a golden retriever.

But I spend more time feeding and cleaning up after the two primates that live upstairs.

We only have dogs ... Labrador Retrievers ... Have had 8 (of our own) a number of times but keep losing the old ones. Down to 7 (of our own) now but there are always more at home for any number of reasons. Right now we have 9 ... a friends Lab (sister of one of ours) while they vacation and another (co owned by my wife) getting trained for her field work debut in September.

My wifes friend has 8 or 9 and we're always swapping .... have had as many as 14 while my wife and her friend went to a dog show for a few days last autumn.

I answered this question a while back ... not sure how many I had at that time (7 I think? :confused: )

Well, it's been a hectic couple months and right now we have 24 Labrador Retrievers. Okay, so 16 of them are puppies (8 seven weeks old & 8 almost six weeks) and 15 of them will be going to their new homes in a few weeks. Two of our Labs are also off visiting friends and we have two others here visiting us.

The adult Labs are so much easier to take care of than all these pups! :D Just the same, when those 15 pups go home to their new family, 8 adult Labs is still a very lonely house ;) (not really! ... but it'll be quiet and peaceful again :D and I'll miss the little ones )
