I've been spending most of my time this past week or two working on a subtle rehaul of my web site, and have only been here sporadically. I saw some post earlier this morning that reminded me of a picture I got during a shoot at the L.A. Zoo last month. I don't even remember what post brought it to mind now (Too many projects, too little time -- stress??? They're both COWS! I don't even see a freakin' dolphin!)
Enough rambling...

Yes, I know it's a coyote, not a wolf... And I hate those wire cages at zoos.

That is a great shot. It certainly makes you want to give it the respect that you should be in the first place. They look so loveable most of the times.

A nicely timed shot! Was it yawning or howling?
As for the fence, I didn't even notice it until you mentioned it. :)

Hmmm ... I like it ... but to me it looks more like 'tired like a wolf'

Cool 'yote shot ... I like it! I'm with Leo - I didn't notice the fence at first, either.

Barking, actually. There was another coyote out of sight in the building on my left that was barking back at him. They were making a whole lot of noise!

It does look like a yawn. I don't know why I hadn't noticed that before...

We have a lot around here, too. I've always been amused that there are some in the zoo, when you only have to go about 100 yards away to see them in the wild...
