Definitely! I'm waiting for one to drop. It drops each week at my store. The A720 is only $140.

what store ?
that's a good price, some of the other super zoom cameras now have more features (at a higher price) but not the Canon image quality

Well the S5 is at $240 so I'm waiting and seeing. The Rebel is at $400+ something. If it frops below I might finally have my back up.

Office Max should be reliable. I thought Circuit City was till I tried to buy one.
New S5 are hard to find, I finally got one for $330 and thought that was a good price.
If you can get one new for that price I'd jump on it.

A720 is $98 at my Target. The S5 just sold for $250 I think, or less.

S5s' were on sale at select Target stores for $244.98. I picked up 2 display S5s and got each of them for $185 each. Woot!

some good deals when a model is discontinued and gets cleared out.
Even if you have a dSLR you just can't go wrong with a Canon super-zoom at $185
