Hi,

While searching the net for photoshop I found buysusa.com selling "bundled" versions of Photoshop at greatly discounted prices.

Has anyone bought from them? I really haven't seen many computers bundled with a full version of Photoshop. My 20D came with Photoshop Elements.

I haven't purchased anything from them, so I can't say anything about their service after the sale.

I did go to their web page, and found out that their great deal is for version 7, not version 8.0 which is Photoshop CS, "CD set only", without any manuals, tech support, or anything else (not sure about a serial number).

If you do take this deal, make sure that your local bookstore has books for Photoshop 7.0 (another $30.00 to $50.00 per book).

I went to resellarratings.com, and they don't list them (buysusa.com).

If it were me, I'd take the Elements upgrade to Photoshop CS.

So bottom line, it's your money, you can do whatever you want with it.

We'll see what others say, just my .02 cents.

I's suggest using the Elements upgrade. Or the free GIMP at GIMP.org. If you can become a student, there are upgrades offered to them, too - not sure what's the best deal at this time.
You never know what "Extras" (hackerware) you're getting from a pirated version!

I have no experience with them but if it is legit then go for it. You can then upgrade to PS CS for $269 which is a little cheaper then the upgrade from elements.

I bought a OEM version of PS6 for about $50 a year ago, then I bought the upgrade for $269.

Hi,

Thought I would update my own post. My wife misplaced her Photoshop V5 (bad laptop hard drive and all installed programs are lost) and needed to create some logos for a web page. I ordered the Photoshop CS from buysusa.com and of course 2 hours after placing the order she calls to say she found the CD at work. It arrived in a couple of days, installed and activated. Works fine, just no documentation or tech support.
