Thought I'd try my new 50mm f1.4 lens

3) Canon 20D 50mm f2 1/500 ISO 800

All the kids had a great time. Lighting in the gym was really bad. Half the lights had a red cast to them and some of the others were yellowish.

I'm just learning PS (got a great book). I corrected the color and resized the images for display.

Let me know what you think.

Cheers

Those look good to me, I have not used my '50' very much. I am excited to get it out and put to work from the look of your setup, I will be happy too.

What's a sock hop?

A Sock Hop is a term coined in the 1950s in the United States, following the growth in popularity of Rock and Roll music. It refers to informal sponsored dances at American high-schools, typically held on the grounds of the school itself, either in the gymnasium or cafeteria. Initially the term referred to the practice of removing one’s shoes in order to dance in stocking feet, typically to spare the floor from the scuff marks made by dress shoes.

Hope that helps.
