I thought it would be cool to take a few pics in the pool hall...

I really like the shots, but there a lil' noisy. I think if you drop the ISO it will help with that?!..

Yeah the angles and frames are good, a drop in the iso would be good and my favorite pool shot is missing , the slower shutter shot of the balls being broken. With all the colours it always comes out nice and captivating.
But all in all great shooting , i know the light situation in a pool hall is always rough.

thanks for the comments guys, yeah the lighting situation was less than ideal to say the least. I think the noise became alot more prominent when i turned up the contrast in photoshop. I wanted the color of the balls to be really bright and saturated, so i turned up the contrast. Unfortunately, that also made the noise alot more noticeable.

I think the noise ads to the typical pool hall atmosphere...
I know the color is great in these photos, but ever thought about trying them in black and white?

good angles. did you consider a slow shutter (5 sec), to show the balls in motion?

I like them!
I actually shot some in the pool hall last night, only with the slow shutter sync + flash to freeze a good shot, and then view the trails of the balls.
Some came out great -- others..well, not so great.
THanks for posting, I like them.
