What would some of you experienced users recommend as the best Photoshop SC learning manual/book for a beginner. I know there are a lot of books out there but I'm trying to avoid buying several before I get the right one. TIA

The basic Classroom in a book for Photoshop CS by Adobe is a very good starting point. After that I like the Ben Wilmore books. These are both devoid of the stupid humor attempts that many Photoshop authors attempt.

Thanks! Your right Frank that should keep me busy. I have used PS 6.0 but didn't dig any deeper than basic cropping and image adjustments. I have CS thanks to a family members gift but now I feel obligated to learn more of the great features that it has.

Thanks again,
DS
