Hello,

I first want to say taht I love the look your gallery produces, and if I can get v1.22 running properly I will DEFINATELY upgrade to the newest version. I have searched around and have not found anything that compares to the look and style of yours. So, I hope you can help me...

OK, I can get the thumbs and microthumbs up on the screen, but still cannot see the big picture once the thumb is clicked.

The system is looking, for examle, tn_argh2.jpg when the image file is actually called argh2.jpg. Where do I change the settings to make it look for the appropriate file name in the "big" folder. From what I am gathering it's looking for the 'thumb nail hence the 'tn_' in the file name when it should be looking for the regular file.

I'm sure that most of this is user error, but I have not been able to figure anything out about it and have finally given up and am asking for help.

Thanks,

Pekka

So far (knock knock) there hasn't been a single unsolved case :)

The database stored only one filename, and you can see that in photo editor. In searching big photos EE simply adds the filename to a size path and tries to open that URL.

So, check first what filename you have in photo editor for a specific photo. Then check in photo editor bottom for list of saved size paths - make sure that the saved filename is indeed found in those paths.

Also thumbnails and microthumbs use that same filename, not any variation of it.

Note: make sure in 1.22 that filenames don't contain spaces or special characters, and that the extension in .jpg (lower case). Those bugs are fixed in 1.3RC.

If you still have problems, mail me info how I can access your input folder (don't give it here in public) and I'll have a look.

But basically the photo will open if you add filename to size path and try that on a browser. EE does the same thing internally, nothing fancy there.

Cheers,
