Blackhawks preseason opener vs. Columbus

All shot through the glass, yet again, more hassles getting a 70-200 f/2.8 in, but was able to get it in this time. Im pretty much done with them now, between contradictions in policies and increased ticket prices. (Cant complain about the $25 for 3rd row seats for the preseason game though)

The exposure looks fine on my CRT, but when viewing on some LCD screens, the images are looking overexposed. Perhaps time to get one or both monitors calibrated!

Thanks guys, I was amazed I managed to get 2 shots of pucks actually near the glove! (and were the first shots of the sequence as opposed to my spray & pray method last year)

One plus of preseason despite the AHL quality players (nothing wrong with that) is the clean glass! A couple marks could be seen the glass by the 3rd period, but was pristine the first two periods!

Nice work. The ice in shots 1 and 4 look too bright on my CRT monitor. As to LCD, they are pretty much always brighter than what they should be and you need to be careful if you are post processing on one as then your images can look too dark on a properly calibrated monitor. My CRT is pretty close to calibrated and except for the two shots noted, these look pretty good! GO HAWKS! BTW who won?

Hawks won 4-3, really scrappy game, 6 majors for fighting and 2 scrums near the benches.
