Do you still get excited to shoot?

I do...

Just a little school-photo session Friday morning with few hot-lights (well, balanced fluorescents) and 50-60 kids sitting on a stool.

I've done it many times and I still get nervous/excited to be shooting "real" photos for people...:p...even "routine" stuff like school pictures...lol...

when it becomes mundain - sell everything but your nifty and one body :-) i get excited when i shoot "for real" or when i get to shoot something out of the ordinary. Besides, if photography became unexciting for me, what would i do with all the time i spend on this website??

i get excited if i walk down the road and i see something and have my camera with me... dont even get me started about commercial shoots! LOL

If you don't still get excited about shooting...there isn't a whole lot of sense in having a camera. Might as well watch cartoons and drink beer.

Doing our FIRST payed shoot in 9 days....I am excited...I don't know where you are at so all I can do is give my perspective to you.

exactly - everytime I head out the door with a camera in my hand, I am excitedly wondering what I'll be bringing home.

Whether it be serious or 'just me time' - it's all an adventure.

When I know I have a job to do I still get excited!
Especially since I'm starting to do more glamor work!
And when I shoot football games I can't sleep the night before the game no matter if it's pee wee or pros!

I have shot something every day this week and in the last year I have had many many shoots, games, and weddings and I still get excited and a tad bit nervous with each one.

Well the first round of kids are done - whew. The next round is a week away.

I was nervous - again - lol. Thought I had everything set right in the camera. But I left Auto WB on - duh! So every shot was different WB, and I shot them all in JPG because I didn't have enought card space to shoot raw. Now I have to fix them all in post.

Oh well, live and learn I suppose. I'll make a checklist for next week - don't know why I haven't made one before...
