I'm hoping I've got this right, but I think this is a Dahlia?
I saw it in my mothers yard and went bizeerk taking photos of it because of how beautiful it looked.
She says shes not sure of what it is, because she didnt even plant it...LOL :D
Anyways....it gave me a great reason to pull out the macro tube set that I bought awhile back and test them out.
All of these were shot with a Canon 5D and a Sigma 24-70 f/2.8 with all 3 of the kenko tubes stacked on them.

To give you a sense of sclae, this is about the size of a silver dollar and the reason the lighting is so different on each one is I used a Canon 430ex flash handheld on a cord. Each shot I'd position the flash at a different angle to the flower to try different lighting angles.
Now the problem is none of us can decide which one we like the best.
