Thanks, he's such a good dog, I had two of them umtil this summer whe we lost his brother to a heart tumor. Simba waited by the front window for so long waiting for hime to come home.

I like the composition! I like the light on one side and how it creates the shadows. To me, the image seems a little too dark though - not a lot, just a little - and the nose appears to be in focus instead of the eye. I like the eye to be in focus on shots like this (I have trouble making it happen with my dogs and small DOF). Nice capture and sorry to hear about your other friend.

Thanks, I know what you're saying about the light, and nose, but this was just a quick pic of my "old friend" in afternoon light, through the picture window. And thanks for the thought about his brother, he's missed every day.

I know how difficult it is to get animals to cooperate. Good job. You obviously liked it or you wouldn't have shared it with the rest of us. I think it is a nice shot. Sorry, but I have nothing negative to say.
