When shooting the last lunar eclipse, I bolted on my kit 18-55 and took a few final random shots to see what would happen. Yeah it isn't great but it's an interesting outcome to me.

last one looks pretty cool, looks like an ocean in space but the tree is a bit distracting

I really like shots of the moon with a tree or shrub in the foreground, especially when the foregraound object is in focus. For this reason I really like #2. #1 is pretty cool as well.

Thanks everyone!

I liked the inclusion of the tree in the second one, but would've preferred to have it removed in the third one...well maybe if my arms were about 100 metres long then we could've done something about it :mrgreen:.

Here is a different shot from that night, now using a 100-300.
