Hi Guys,
Another one from my Byron Trip, do you think the crop of #2 is better than the original?
Personally, i still like #1 better.
EXIF for both images:

Personally I think the blue telescope detracts from both images....but hey....that's only my opinion :)

Hi there,
The first is definitely better for me. Wish the telescope wasn't there, but very nice nonetheless.
Oh, where is Byron Bay ? Is that where you spent your vacation.

Hi,
Thanks for the comments, what i was trying to achieve here is to convey the use of the telescope to check out the island ? not sure it worked though :) maybe if there was someone looking through the telescope, it would've looked better?
Poke: Yes, this is Byron, NSW, Australia.
aam1234: Yeah mate, spent a week in Byron, the rest at home in Sydney, Byron is on Australia's east coast, 10 hours north of Sydney (by car) ;).
Thanks for looking.

Thanks man.
I have three places I'd love to visit, one of them is Australia (the others are NZ and Scotland)...of course with a camera ready.

Back in a previous life... around 1990, I rode a bicycle from Newcastle to Byron Bay. Now that was an experience. 732Km in 6 days :)

Poke,
Wow man, im sure you had a sore ar$e after the first day, but then you got used to it?? I cant even imagine doing that... the 10 hours spent in the car were even too much, so much so that everyone agreed that if we do this again, we'll be flying there ;)
I just wish there was some decent waves mate, i'll post up some surfers waves soon... still "developing" them...
