Yes its way over processed, however i achieved the look i was going for. Maybe not be for all and you are more than welcome to your opinion but i think some might like it.
Let me know what you think.
Process:
I took three exposures of the shot and ran them through Photomatix, i then loaded it into Photoshop adjusted some highlights and ran it through the Lucisarts plugin.

The processing burns my eyes, but I think the angle's pretty close ;)

I like the sky, and the sides of the wagons are OK in a computer-game-sort of way, but what I don't like is that there's a loss of separation between the wagons and the track bed. Also, when I look at the track bed, all my brain tells me it's seeing is noise.
If you could make the ground less harsh, you'd have a really interesting image. In my opinion, anyway.

The car bodies look cool. The rails look cool...the sky is a bit odd and the ballast is in need of toning down. Interesting concept.
