I'm a newbie and am trying to post some photos but the image size is to large. Is there a way to reduce the size for posting here? Most of the images I've taken so far are large jpeg. Thanks

With Your 20D You got Photoshop Elements. You can reduce the size with that.

One thing, in reducing or enlarging a image where image quality is important, it is better to do the changes in 10% increments as apposed to all in one go.

I didn't see where to change the percentage, where would that be? I was able to change the pixil size but saw nothing about percentages. I'm using the photoshop elements 2 which came with the camera but came with no manual.

Not sure if it is the same in Elements but in PS where the pixil size is there is a drop down arrows for the "pixil" and when you click here you get to choose from pixel, inches, mm, percentage.
If this is not an option in CS you can just simply us a calculator to multiply the largest pixil count by 1.1 to go up or by .9 to go down.

I reduce 2 sunset pictures for critique corner by just reducing the pixil size to 800 and they seem to look ok for posting.
