Are we near to a final release date? I know you mentioned a few weeks ago you had a date in mind.

Upgrade will be as usual: upload new files, run a script and that's it.

OMG I'm so excited.

Me too! This software is superb, especially for a one man effort. IMHO it's far better than the likes of Gallery and Coppermine, and far better than some commercial software I'm just moving from. I wish I'd found out about it earlier.

E-Cards and User Upload are my 2 features that I would love to have, are these two options in the release version or future release.

Those two are definitely there. Only desirable feature that will surely be missing from this release is lightbox's multiple photos integration to EE commerce. That needs more time than a week.

Main goals for this release are to complete code for
- fully featured nested navigation (builds different kind of menu systems, site map), index page template system is part of this.
- secure user login system with permissions and upload. Each user sees custom built navigation tree (only items that are permitted).
- fixing technical issues (e.g. PHP5 compatibility), more data cacheing (less SQL queries), uncookied autocleanup etc.
- security issues (user login system is big part of this).
