I chose HDR for this image to bring out the detail that I could see with my eyes but could not capture with the camera. This was a 2 shot raw processed two 1/3 stops over and two 1/3 stops under for each raw. PP done in photomatrix and then some fine tuning in CS3.

The original.

The HDR conversion.

It came out nice. Did you generate a HDR from the two RAW's, or use Exposure Blending?

In Lightroom I processed the 2 raws 1/3 and 2/3 stops over and under (-2/3, -1/3, 1, 1/3, 2/3) the original. This gave 10 images. I merged them in photomatrix and then tone mapped . Exported to Tiff and opened in CS3 and finished the minor things. (slight contrast bump, minor curves adjustment, etc)

Edit I should add that the "original" image I posted was converted from one of the RAWs that was just converted in LR using the Default settings.
