Hey Mods!!

Since Transportation now has a discussion area separate from photo sharing, can we start threads for transportation-photography related activities?

In the previous incarnation of POTN, such posts generally got moved to POTN Member Activities but is that still the case?

(I'm asking 'cause I'd like to start an "Airshow Calendar" thread and keep it here where folks talk about shooting airshows... ;)

[EDIT] Maybe such a thread would be "Sticky" worthy for the top of the Transportation Discussion section?

The new "Talk" sections are for discussing the specific genré. All aspects of the genré. Just no "chat" treads.

Good idea, but sooner or later it would get moved to POTN Member Activities. (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=&f=80)
So I've started a LINK to your member activities thread here. thread. I "Sticky"ed it for now. We'll see if it gets enough participation to merit that.

Understood. My intent was to form a thread where people could post the dates and location of airshows, fly ins, Air Museums, small airports, etc. No Photos (other than small maps or parking diagrams .. good places to shoot), No Chat and No Guarentees the info is accurate (folks have to do their own homework too...) I also thought it would come in handy if someone finds out that a particular event had been changed, postponed or even cancelled.
