nice pictures man, how on earth did you get it to stay so still? I tried shooting a friends snake with my 50 F1.8 and it was just far too slow a focuser!

thanks man, i dunno i guess he's just a well tempered snake. He was just kinda chillin in my lap for a while so i snapped some shots while i had the chance. The first one was taken when he crawled (slithered?) up my shoulder and into my hoodie :eek: .

Thats a cool shot, even though its not focused as clear as you would have liked...i like the arc of the snake and the water dripping off his face.

the snake in my pic is just a little old corn snake :) not dangerous as far as i know

the one in my pics is a harmless bullsnake...a constrictor common in the NE. He doesn't really bite, but if he gets pissed off he'll warn you by "rattling" his tail.
