Almost 2 yrs old having fun

When our Grandson comes to visit us, I take my Canon XTi and start shooting.
This one was taken during the late morning at a playground.
Speed 320, f 14, ISO 400, 33 mm.

my only question is ...why f-14 ?!?!?! if you did f-4 at least you would haev got nice DOF.. =)

I am curious though, why ISO 400 and f-14?

I would have used ISO 100, f-stop as low as possible to blur the background which would have caused the subject, your grandson, to stand out more from the busy background. Hence curious why you chose these settings...

I don't know if you are after C&C or just sharing but given I am writing this already I might as well add that a touch of fill flash would have lifted the shadows from his face a bit.
