Just in case people would like to see what can be done with just a 5D, 24-70mm and a tripod with single images can do. Here is two shots from this week. I sure wish it was not so light polluted here in central Indiana but we all have our crosses to bear.
The first image was taken as nautical twilight was passing overhead. The best way I wave found to beat the light pollution, use a little more light! That does not make sense now does it. I do like Cassiopeia above the silos and Perseus kind of hidden behind them. Camera 5D, ISO 100, TV 732 sec., AV 8.0, Lens 24-70mm @ 25mm, single image with in-camera noise reduction, Bogen tripod.
