Spent a really nice day at Silverstone for the BSB practise on friday, weather was very good. Lots of big lenses so I guess a few of you where there.

They look great to me. But I love the bikes.

Steve, I missed these shots when i looked earlier, very nice images the colours, exposure and IQ are top rate. I guess these are straight out the camera not cropped? for my personnel taste I would have cropped them a lot. These I guess were taken at Abbey Hairpin and exit of Beketts?

Cheers

You where right they where taken at Abbey Hairpin and exit of Beketts, I did try cropping them a bit more but they lose there detail, most where taken at 300mm.

I guess you really need a longer lens at Silverstone to get the close up detail, just have to look in the piggy bank lol.

I really like the last image - it hasn't suffered for the crop. Nice set, good panning.

Steve,

I agree, and there is no loss of IQ.
