Does anyone out there have any stacked (pre post-processing) images that us noobs can practice on? Since it has been cloudy here for a week I haven't got any pictures to play around with.

This would also give us a chance to post our results here and get some feedback as to how we can improve our post processing. I have recently purchased Noels tools and really want to try them out.

Heres a reduced size of the Omega Centauri Globular Star Cluster it took 06-04-2006 . This is a stack of about 8 images . Not really alot of signal but fairly nice detail . Noels Tools can bring alot out in this tho if you work it right . Good luck and post your results back to this same topic please .

Here is my first effort. I started going in circles after a while. Need to figure out a good workflow in CS3 with Noels tools.

This was tough as well as the image was very small. Would it help if we had a file storage site? That way we could upload the originals if we wanted. I have been looking at joining a file hosting site and may be able to share it with people that want to use it.

If anyone wants to share some larger photos I have subscribed to Mediafile to try it out. You can save files up to 100mb in size. Send me a PM and I will give you the login details.

For those wanting to see the files hosted the address is http://www.mediafire.com/POTN-astrophotos

I had to upload a photo to open the account so it is a blurry wide angle shot of M31 through a 50mm lens.
