Bit late to post... anyway was at Brands last weekend for the final rounds of the BTCC. Enjoyed the weekend, but couple of quite heavy accidents. Thankfully everyone ok. Really nice weather and some typical close racing = good times!

Anyway here's a few compressed "forum friendly sized" photos for comment... all shot with 40D's and 100-400 or 24-105...

SATURDAY

#1 Junior Ginetta's are usually good value...

Azza, great shots...were you shooting inside the fences? What focal legths/lens were you shooting with ? I only had my 400 and found it very restrictive and from behind the fencing even worse...

cheers chaps.

Z3 I was inside the fence, ref focal lengths I have a 100-400 so that covers quite range. Typically though around the 300 mark. I would say Brands is one of the best spectator circuits, 70-200 for example is plenty for inside Druids, Surtees and even Clearways in the right spot. 400 fixed is probably a bit long in places but outside Druids through fence would work well, perhaps run out of Paddock from both inside and outside :) Just stand further back heh ;)

I noticed TOC hit the kerb a couple of times but it's not a very easy place to get the shot - you can't really see who's coming until they're there. Also the background isn't very good, but what can you do. At least isn't something a tiny bit diff from the norm :)

cheers

Great set as always...#3 Tom Onslow-Cole on two wheels becoming quite a favorite and #6 Mat Jackson leading the way are the pick of the bunch for me...

Nice to see new angles...

Great news that John George is ok...

Cheers  Just thought that's about the last "big" event for me now... already looking forward to the Tempest Rally and Sunseeker! The last 6 months or so have just flown by :eek:
