Blurry flash photos

Help! I'm brand new to digital photography and have owned the camera only a few weeks.

My first flash phots were great, crisp and sharp.

Recently, they all seem to come out very blurry, even with the flash in use, as if the camera had selected an extremely slow shutter speed.

Is it possible that I have changed some camera setting without realizing it?

I changed my camera to the "night setting" recently while horsing around and left it there by accident...later I ended up with flurry hand-held photos [that normally would have been crisp].
