I did this last night just playing around in Photoshop CS. Just experimenting with it change the background and color. I think it came out pretty good.
took me a while to get them cut out and put back on the new background.
I got this tip for a member here. He did an excellent job on one he had did of his wife. So I thought I would play around with it a bit. I love the way the background turned out like if you had it done in a studio.
Thanks George for the tips on helping me learn how. It was fun I love trying new things.

Great job, Gail. It looks like they're in a studio, alright. Very nice.

I like the sepia tone... its subtle, doesn't come on too strong.

Hi Gail
Thanks for the kind words. You've done an excellent job - experimenting is half the fun.

Have you tried using a layer mask? It makes it much easier than cutting out and pasting onto a different back ground. It looks great, though. A mask just seems to make it easier.

Hi Pam,
No I haven't tried using a layer mask don't really know how to do that. I'm all open ears to hear about how to use layer mask to do this type of thing. If you have time e-mail me and maybe you can walk me through it. I would appreciate your help dearly. It does seem a lot easier the way your talking about doing it.
my email is Gail4ev@aol.com or you can send me a private message. if you want to do it that way. Thanks Gail,

Very nice shot. Must have missed it the first time around. Like the sepia tone. The mother looks like a model I have seen somewhere.
