I think I have posted this house before, but this is a remake of a 7 exposure series done with the 1D Classic and tone mapped in PM and finished in CS3.

I need to re-shoot this with the 40D and try some 3 exposure spreads. I don't like the blurred branches to the right of the porch. From wind I guess.

This one would benefit from a small rotation to the left to make the buildings more astute. Mediachance's hdr software (the one I use) includes anti ghosting and pin tools to avoid the leaf problems. Sky looks a bit ... bland ? for a hdr...

Thansk BBoi. PM also has anti-ghosting options, but I turned it off. Didn't think it would help in this case. I did straighten it though. Refresh the browser to see it. ;)

I haven't tried your HDR software yet. Still getting use to PM.

BTW, the sky is bland here. It's almost always bland, overcast, gray and ugly. :)

What do you mean by this? (I'm not sure it's the right word:))

Thanks Bill, Ami and Roy. Not sure about the rotation Bill. It looks pretty level to me, maybe it looks tilted cause of the wide angle? I was going to shoot this again today, but then, the sky is the same dull gray color, so why bother. I do need this with the 40D though, so I can get a bigger print. :)

you know the more i look at this one i think you are right. it's pretty straight if you look at the eave part on the porch. and did you buy photomatix or is this still a trial version and you clone out the watermark.

Thanks Craig. Instead of messing with this image, it will be easier to wait till there is good sky, then go shoot it again. It's only a couple miles from me. But you ought to see the rest of this place. Around the side is a covered awning to drive under when it rains, and a complete stable/garage in back with a second floor house above it. :)

Bill, I cheated. I had straightened it once, but then uploaded the wrong one, the same one already up there. I found the straight one and uploaded it a little bit ago.

HAHA, yeah, I did straighten it, but then save it into a different folder, thinking it was going into the correct place. Then I uploaded to the server, but uploaded the old one I had not overwritten. I looked at it and saw it was still crooked, but thought it was just me. LOL

HAHA, what I wish I had is how when you can draw a box on the desktop with the mouse? Something like that that would simply draw over an image. But, it doesn't work over images. You have to use a guide line in CS3 or something to make sure it's level.
