G9 and Metz 54 MZ-3

Can anyone advise me if the G9 and the Metz 54 MZ-3 flash gun are compatable please i dont want to make a mistake buying one thank you...Ray:)

I can tell you that the Metz 58 AF-1 is compatible.

If it has the Ettl module then it will work with any Canon digital with Ettl and hot shoe.
