Friday night lights question

I see most if using a flash just use a comon canon flash. Would there ever be a problem with using a larger flash? Such as a Norman 400B. If so what would the problem be.

Technically, its in the wrong section since youre not sharing any pictures..

However, Ill answer your question with a question. Why would there be a problem? Youre not reinventing the wheel. Youre just using a larger flash. So long as the duration is short enough to freeze action, there shouldnt be a problem.

The only reason I asked was because some one here have said you should not use a flash at all at high school games. Thanks for the responce I may repost my question in the other section. Did they just move thing around?
