the Colin Mc Crae forrest rally iso 1600,f4 and 1/500 shutter speed for both photos

Don't know what lens was used but ya might have bumped up the SS a bit, they're a tad soft.
Great exposure though.

Don't know what lens was used but ya might have bumped up the SS a bit, they're a tad soft. I think it might be a focus point problem @ f/4? In #1 the "DU" on the fender looks sharp & #2 has the same problem. I usually try to AI focus on a headlight when the car has one.

I might have tried some at 1/200 - 1/125 seconds to get a bit more motion blur in the wheels and have something to refer to next time. .
