Just got done playing with it. It is fantastic to say the least. I highly recommend getting the extension cord with it. Instructions are clear, but I did get a little lost on the time exposure explanation.

Basically, if you want long, or ridiculously long exposure, you set the dial to M and turn the thumb dial to bulb setting, then the controller takes over.

What's interesting is, you can combine all functions of the remote. In other words, if you want to do a time delay and an long exposure setting, and multiple shots all at once, you can.

For situations where you may be obtrusive to an audience, snapping shots of speakers on stage for example, you simply put the camera on a tripod, sit 39 feet away (with extension cord added) and press a button. Want to shoot the rotation of the earth around the stars or birds feeding? Go for it.

couldn't agree with you more on this one..........the TC is more expensive, but the additional features make it one useful tool.
