Will the 420EZ work on the G9/10?

Will the 420EZ work on the G9/10? and what's the difference between the 420EZ and the 420EX?

The 430EZ is a much older flash designed to be used with film cameras. It uses TTL technology to read exposure off the film in the camera. Digital cameras don't have film so in TTL mode, the flash ends up firing at full power.

The 430EZ does have manual control so if you set it to 1/8. 1/4. 1/2, etc, you can get a good exposure if you are willing to play around.
