Would like to know what I could do to make the first one better, thinking of making 8x10 for her trophy case..

I prefer more action type shots with opponents colliding and the ball in contact with players, as opposed to this type of 'action-sportrait' type shot, but that's just me.

However, I imagine parents would likely eat these up with a two-fisted spoon. Heck, I'd probably buy one like this of my own kid.

These are well done for the type of shot they are (just not my c-o-t).

I like your shots, what I've done for a little difference is to use LR2 or Photoshop to make black and white then add color back to the player and especially the red ball it really makes a great picture and impression for parents, after all they want to see their kid.
