Tonight saw our hometown Université de Moncton Aigles Bleus meet the St. Thomas University Tommies in exhibition play. Moncton won the game 5-2.
The match wasn't played in our home arena. Instead, it was a benefit game for minor hockey played in a small town about 30 minutes outside Moncton. This arena was darker than most of our local rinks. I had to shoot (through the glass) at ISO 3200, and still had to bring up the exposure 1/2 to 3/4 stops in post-processing. My only consolation was that the section of glass I used was clean on both sides.
I haven't finished reviewing all of tonight's shots - these four simply caught my eye during the initial go-through. Personally, I'm not happy with any of the shots from tonight's game. I'm not sure why - perhaps the poor lighting or perhaps because a small and overcrowded rink limited my shooting positions. However, I thought I would open up the floor to your thoughts and opinions.
C&C is welcome.
#1: Aigles Bleus goaltender Pierre-Alexandre Marion makes a nice glove save, foiling Tommies forward Corey Banfield.

#2: St. Thomas forward Jason Rinzler (a Moncton native and former star with the Moncton Beavers of the Maritime Junior A Hockey League) sets up his first goal of the game. He would go on to score both STU goals.
