I haven't seen very many Jupiter shots, and the ones I have don't show any of the moons. I remember being able to see them pretty decently with a 5" Schmidt-Cassegrain, so I was wondering if any of you have gotten any shots of them?

Here's one taken during a Moon transit. This is Io(i-oh) casting its shadow on Jupiter. I have shots of a couple different double transits but I have to dig deep for those, I'll see if I can find them. This is a single exposure taken with a 4 mgpxl point and shoot attached to a telescope eyepiece. Telescope was a 5" Achromatic refractor (no tracking).

Ok, now THAT is cool. I've only seen the eye of Jupiter a couple of times. I know that it rotates around every 9 hours or so (if I remember right). I've seen all the Galilean moons before, and remember having a chart that you could use to tell you where they were each night. I also did a paper on Europa in the 1990's at college, when NASA was just starting to think about sending a probe its way.
