Sexy Fitness model

Ok here are a few from a recent shoot with a fitness model. I have already shot her in the gym working out and posing and this time she wanted something different and sexy for her website.

The outfits were chosen by her and she gave me an idea of the type of look she wanted. She's not new to fitness but is a complete beginner when it comes to modelling and posing in front of the camera, this is only her third ever shoot.

I'm really looking for comments regarding the image composition, lighting etc and any feedback on how to improve them or opinions on what I could try next time. I did post this on another forum and got nothing but comments about how she should not try to be sexy and that I should have shot her in the gym etc etc as this style did not suit her, I will hopefully recieve some more constructive comments here.

These are all very good. Your model is excellent, and obviously very fit. Only an observation, but she really has a very nice smile, and I'd like to see more of it. I also like #3 for the naturalness of the pose.

The lighting the all the other technical aspects of the photos are all good imo. What belmondo hinted at is the key to the success in these photos though, and that is smiling. I think if she smiled more, that would be the cherry on top. Good job otherwise...

I was too excited to see someone other than myself posting pics of fit muscular women (drisley has some great pics too) that I did not read your whole post. Personally I think fitness women can try to look as sexy as they want, I think she has more of a "don't mess with me" look in some of the pics, but you said she is a beginner, so more time in front of the camera will cure that. Some of my past postings have devolved into a discussion over the merits of fit muscular women......do not be discouraged, if you sift through the comments there is always constructive criticism. I like the lighting and subject very much, hopefully you can work with her some more.

I get to do a photo shoot in San Francisco with my favorite fitness woman tomorrow, so keep an eye out for some pics.

I was just thinking the same thing. With smiles, the other pics would be icing on the cake. Great compositions and lighting.

I like all the images with the blue backdrop mainly because I prefer her hair style in those shots, especially the first one on the chair.

The other two in front of the white backdrop, her hair looks like something out of the 70's or something. It just doesn't look good on her.

Everything else is excellent though, and she is plenty sexy enough! :mrgreen:

On the blue backdrop you can still see shodows. You may want to move her fouther from the backdorp or adjust the lighting on the backdrop. Other wise good lighting and compositions.

Thank you all so much for your comments, the studio we used was really small so didn't have that much room, next time I'll move the model a bit further from the backdrop, I also dont like the way there is a shadow along the bottom of the blue backdrop. Will fix those things next time.

Great photos, well posed and balanced. As for the subject, muscley women always look a little too much like a shemale for me. Kind of disturbing.
