Date reset on 20D

I took a picture, switched the camera off, took the CF card out and copied the photo to my PC. Put the card back in the camera, switched it on and the date needed setting.

All other settings are as I had set them, so it wasn't a general reset. The battery indicator is still at full - but I haven't charged it up for a while.

Anyone seen this before ?
