I have two lenses that I don't use anymore:

- Canon EF 55-200mm f/4.5-5.6 II USM (8808A002) - $60?
- Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III USM (6472A002) - $90?

Both come with original boxes, 9/10 lenses cosmetically -- Clean glass.

Can I just post it in the sale forum and have them pay Pekka directly? Or would one of the admin like to post it and just let me know where to ship. I'll include shipping (UPS Ground) to Cont US as part my donation.

Also I'm open to just putting them up for best offers, I know they're not the type of lens that we're accustomed to but they're fine for a starter or someone who is on a budget.

No you are not required to post here when donating. That is completely voluntary so prime away :lol:

Hello. I only have a few posts here, most in my thread lamenting the loss of my favorite little pocket camera, nothing too exciting really. I am donating for two reasons. First and formost, one of your members (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/member.php?u=135721) freecycled me exactly what I was looking for. It came today and I couldn't be happier. He asked only that I donate to this site twice the shipping charges, which I have gladly done. The second reason I donated is because even with only 14 posts, (15 now I suppose) I found everyone very helpful and the information I got from here was invaluable. Thanks again.

Your right about It being a bit difficult to find. So I just added a link in my sig so it gets left a little bit every where.

Hey Pekka, quick suggestion...why not have Paypal donate button on the frontpage of the forum? I have it on my site and its well used. This thread isn't as easy to locate.

Could also be worth setting up a subscription scheme- we have people who donate 10-25 bucks a month towards the server cost.

Another option that is very easy to implement is for you to add a link in your signature block like I have in mine. If more contributors did that, it might remind the others that operating this site costs money. Of course, there are those who do not mind being a freeloader.

I have the the EOS Camera forum bookmarked and then navigate from there mainly via the User CP. A couple non-photography forums that I belong to (American Association of Woodturners, Sawmill Creek) have extra perks for contributors or members (members only services, larger images, blogs, galleries, etc).
