The Bushwhacker rally round 8 of the Northern Ireland rally Championship run in the forest stages of Co. Tyrone. was at the same corner for both runs sorry if some of the pics are the same, 40D with 17-70 Sigma and Canon 70-200 2.8. C& C please

wish there was more variety.... than mostly side shots.

Good detail on the cars, but the motion blur of the background seems a bit distracting. Using a tripod and waiting for the car to cross the set area should get rid of this effect unless it was what you were going for :P

Morning Jim,
Personally,I think you have done really well,and the sharp cars but blurred background is a great for me.
It could be web compression ,but are a few a tad over sharpened ?
The lack of annoying yellow jacketed marshalls and speccies is a real bonus ,giving you great backgrounds in good light (thats a bonus too in forests).
The old mk 2s are great ,thanks.
Your man Adrian H is a nutter ,and the car super powerful
Have you seen his video on u tube ,and him singing ? At least I think it's him singing!Classic!

Thanks Zapins, I was hand held and panning which is the norm for me at rally.

Thanks Chris, the sharpening is my normal USM 3.1.120. No marshals is a bonus;)
A Hetherington is a nutter alright, but he can handle a mkII, off to Spain this morning see you in a week:lol::lol:
