LOL, well this is the Moose I have been promising for the past week or so . . . we had a good chat for over an hour. Did not want to come out of the brush/river for a portrait shot, so I did the best I could with her. I hope this is a cow, the moose loose their horns first around here so bull or cow, there should not be any horns on them this time of year. Our deer and elk will carry them for another month or so at least. Anyway I don't see any bumps where horns would/could be . . . so we are saying cow for now. I like moose but they are mean, I have more than one friend whom has broken some camera gear running for their lives, moose close behind.

Hahaha, I can hear it thinking," just let that guy with the camera get a little closer"

Nice pic.

We struck a deal at twenty feet . . . I think. We both survived at least. My friend wrecked his Sigma BigMa being chased by one. He is on his third, lol. I think I will get a TC and stay a few feet back.

Very good moose portrait, maybe the first I've seen so close. Good thing it wasn't Ian that close to a cute cow.
