I have looked at so many other peoples work. I love the colors.. and the look of much of it.. it is so bright and color full.

I have tryed to download linershapen and run that on linear tiff.. and it helps.. but I still don't get what I want. I have tryed to run just the aftershave on a jpg.. and I can not get the color I want..

please look at

most of it was shoot with a d60.
things like biking in the park, red rock, the bedroom.. and stuff like that was all shot with the d60..

(face shots, school girl shot with a2e)

I am using an eos 35 - 80 len.. and 75 to 300 len.. they are both canon and usm.. so I don't think that the len is the problem

What do yopu want to know -- specificially ?

I suggest that you post one picture that troubles you and tell us why.

The going out picture are nice. But the outfit is not outstanding and at least one shot has DOF problems at the face level, and solo in the kitchen does nothing for me, plus the model needs some makeup and clothing that covers up skin blems.

Any one else have some ideas on how to get better pictures.. Since I am shooting a d60. I can't really shoot all my images in raw mode because it take up too much space.. however I have tryed about a million other things to keep really nice looking pictures

as howie stated, if you were to post a single picture, and tell us why you are unhappy with that particular picture, you might get a little better input than saying "here is everything i've ever shot, make me better"

It's much easier to dissect a single picture than a gallery of them. YOu can point to specifics rather than making generalizations.

And even if you are using great equipment (which you are) a camera is still just a box, pictures happen about 4 inches behind the camera, in your head. You need to think about the shot, make sure it's technically sound as well as artistically pleasing, and the use the camera to capture what's already in your mind. The other option is Point, Shoot, and Pray, which generally has much poorer results.

Please post a single pic, and we'll do our best to help dissect what is good and bad for that particular picture, and then you can apply that new knowledge to new pictures.
