Got my 20D grip back...

from being modded at the Jamesburg NJ repair center and I've been using if for a week now with no problems, no premature low battery indications, no shutdowns.

Did your grip come back with a red dot on the inside of the battery compartment?

I assume that you only need to send just the grip..right? Surely they wont want the grip and camera together do they?

How long did it take to get it back?

I was told a washer was installed.

I looked and didn't see one but I was told it would be marked that way.

It took about 2 weeks but the store lost my repair receipt so it sat there for another week until I called them about it.

The dealer got a tech he knows on the phone when I dropped it off...turned out they had to send the three they had in stock and another customer's in for the mod at the same time they sent mine.
