Some of the leaves were moving and didn't align. did you use a tripod? Shoot AEB with High Speed Burst, 6.5fps? all those will help. I have been using +/- 1 2/3 also instead of 2, 0 -2. Read that it works better and it does seem to help.

good first try but yeah, the leaves are definetly a problem... rule of thumb, if its the least bit windy, shoot for the one RAW HDR if its a still day or very static subject, shoot with a bracketed number of frames.

Thanks, I did use a tripod but will follow the advise next time out. I thought I read an artical that photomatix had ghost removal button but I couln not find anything like that on my copy.

Once you import the images from that little screen, you get this one. The parts in the red are for the ghosting settings.

Thanks for taking the time to post that ghosting screen - I never saw anything like that but next time I try HDR I will look for it more closely.

I've found that even with ghost removal on there are still ghosts.
Auto exposure bracketing helps a bit because you can get
the camera to take 3 exposures, -2/0/+2, in under a second.
But still, when things move it is harder to get a good multiexposure hdr...
