Sorry for the SPAM, someone emailed me and requested that i post up some LX3 Raw images....

the good:
Image Quality in RAW is AWESOME...

The BAD:

Images are saved in .RW2 format... you have to install that software bundled with the camera and convert the file to Jpeg.... I use adobe Photoshop CS3 and it doesn't support that format... sucks...

I'm interested in knowing how the G10 will hold up....

Moderador note: images too big to be displayed. Read IMAGE POSTING RULES (READ BEFORE YOU POST!) (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=194511)

Were those shot with the factory lens or did you have a converter on? I wish the g9 could shoot that wide!

Yes it was the factory lens... no converter lens whatsoever....

Thanks for sharing those samples with us.
It seems so far that at ISO's higher than 80, the quality of the pictures are better than the G9. We'll have to wait for some more G10 samples to compare though.

I'm not into digicams but I think this is the best enthusiast digicam.
Simple manual controls, bigger sensor with less MP's, faster and wider lens with less zoom range, RAW, less noise, and smaller than a G9.
Here is how it compares to the G9 in terms of noise.
