Children's Aid Workers - or not?

Saw these two on 23rd street today working for "Childrens Aid International"- they asked to speak to me - told them they could if I could snap their pic - they only obliged when I agreed not to show the logo of their organization... Anyway the deal is I could "sponsor" a child by merely providing them with either my credit card or checking account #! Could I have some information to take with me? Sorry, we do not distribute information in order to keep our costs down...

sounds like a scam to me, if I ever heard one... good job on getting their picture, maybe you'll be able to provide evidence and testimony in a trial and get something out of it :)
