Took these yesterday under cloudy skies. A first for me as we went downtown and just walked around and found cool places to shoot. Yes, he did smile in a lot of the shots. He has braces and did not want to show them all the time. I worked on one photo to remove the braces. Another first for me.

Good shots Don.
When using fill flash, as well when your just using flash to use it, try not to have it directly showing on the subject(s). In a couple of the photos you can see where there is a shadow cast because the flash was directed right at them instead of bouncing it off of something else.
Image editing is a must. Whether your shooting weddings, sports, portraits, etc...
Take the photos you shoot and make them your own by editing them. What's going to separate you from the rest? Bring the images to life!
